You sound like you are still down about the project, but I love (heh heh) how you're returning to an old subject and turning it on it's side, at least compositionally speaking. Despite the fact that it may feel like a slump to you on the inside, to me on the outside it looks like you are still doing good, strong creative work. In other words, even your slump is good!
